First Adjustable Dock

Using proprietary technology, Norwegian Wood Construction and Docks Donner Tahoe have installed the first adjustable dock on Donner Lake. This dock design allows for a functional dock regardless of changing water level. Inquire about retrofitting your existing dock by contacting us at (530) 277-7572.

Elegant Donner Lake Dock

Another Donner Lake dock completion in Winter of 2012 by Norwegian Wood Construction. This one was particularly difficult because of the rocky build. The replacement dock was literally pinned onto the existing boulders. The dock has a steel superstructure with wood fascia and composite decking. As everything we build- "built to last many generations with care and strength."

Beautiful Lake Dock

Swim Platform Dock

The owners came to us and asked to rebuild their stairs and dock on Donner lake along with the addition of a new kayak and swim platform. The original dock was built in the early seventies.
We rebuilt half of the pilings and utilized part of the old dock's skeleton while adding new beams and joisting. Re-done in all Trex decking and an epoxy coated steel stair structure, it has been re-built to last a lifetime.

Rebuilding an Existing Dock

This dock was built on top of natural rock formations. Utilizing space-age epoxies and adhesives combined with steel and concrete allowed us to build the perfect dock setting on the existing location.

Multi-Use Designed Docks

This was an existing dock that we rebuilt from the top down. During the rebuild process, we preserved 100% of the dock usability during peak use time for the owners. We also rebuilt the lake and terrace walls to improve accessibility and function.
